I'm looking for some insight on golf nets. I'm considering the Spornia SP-8 and the GoSports Elite (Net Return copycat).

The net will be used outdoors initially then indoors completely. Once I get my shop built, my garage is going to become a gym/sports area.

Any recommendations on a hitting surface? I'm not at all opposed to building one myself and have researched this a bit.

I have a Fiberbuilt mat and it's awesome, but expensive. It's the only mat I've hit on that didn't hurt my wrist and elbows.

As for the net, I think I bought it on justfornets.com. the net was around $120 if I remember. I hung it from my carport and put the mat under the carport, so I can hit in the shade.

I have the GoSports net Costco sells and bought a used (B grade) mat from Rawhide Golf Ball Co. My set up is in the garage so I put those rubber connecting tiles underneath the mat for extra cushioning.

The net and mat have both been working great and haven't had any issues.

Also have the Gosports net. The basic one is fine, the heavy duty one busted on me after a few uses. I leave mine outside.

Where are you located? I have a SPG-7 that is unopened South of Houston. Shipping to return it was too much, so I kept it and willing to make a deal

I wound up going with the GoSports Elite Net. It arrived yesterday. I'm in Bryan, so definitely would have considered your offer if I had known sooner!
