Looking to get some new golf glasses. I have the oakley radar now. Thought about trying the flak 2.0 oakley. What are yalls thoughts

Are they a light tint or not? I prefer a pretty light tint in my sunglasses.

I wear my Costa or Smith sunglasses. The same I wear everyday. Are you looking for glasses that are specifically for golf? What's the difference?

Oakley frogskin light

I just went down this rabbit hole last month. My brother in law has some Oakley's with the prizm lenses and I admit they pop color and would be damn good for golf. I ended up going with some Smith Chromopop's because I've never had a pair and wanted to try and because oakley lense durability sucks.

I've been in the golf business for 30 years and I have tried many different glasses. The Oakley Priam Golf are the best lenses I've tried.
There are other companies who make a similar lens now and I haven't tried any of them - maybe the REKS is as good - I don't know.

I currently have the Flak 2.0 XL and couldn't be happier. I don't know if the frame shape is near as important as the lens. I think you can get the PRIZM lenses in a lot of different shapes depending on what you like.

Half Jackets are a little smaller - I have an older pair of those with Revant replacement lenses in them. I can tell the difference between those and PRIZMs, but I wear a pair every day.

My next favorite behind PRIZM Golf is a green color lens made by Ray-Ban.

I do not prefer the black/gray lenses for golf.

Yes mostly just for golf. Prizm Polaroids

I'd like to play with sunglasses on - but the only time I've tried it messed with my depth perception. I remember being on the range and super-fatting 3 shots in a row with massive and award winning beaver pelts. I took the glasses off and went back to clean contact. I've never tried to play in sunglasses since.

This timeframe was back in the OG days of Oakley and so not golf specific or polarized, etc.

Would the new glasses not throw me off? Of course I could just try them - but wondering if anyone else had this phenomenon?

I was never a sunglasses guy and learned the hard way. Had a mole pop up on my lower eye lid that turned out to be Basal cell. Got a good notch cut out of my eyelid and then filled in with donor tissue from my clavicle. With the added bonus of my eye being sewn shut for a month so the donor tissue would take. Good times.
