Woods was 2nd in at +1. Cole was 1st in at +1. So Woods will be paired with either Cole or whoever is 3rd in at +1. The chance of Mickelson being 3rd in at +1 is very remote. As soon as a 3rd player posts +1, you will have the second and final option for Woods' Saturday playing partner.

I guess it's possible Mickelson is 3rd in at +1. But it's unlikely.

No problem. The masters.com leaderboard does a great job posting scores as they are supposed be posted ... descending based on how many holes they have completed. They don't move Woods ahead of other players he is tied with just because his last name is Woods.

You need to root for Mickelson to finish at +1 if you want there to be a chance of a Woods-Mickelson pairing on Saturday. And for the others finishing ahead of Mickelson to NOT finish at +1.

And you need to hope +1 is tied for an even number so that Cole goes with the last man in at even, and Woods goes with the 3rd man in at +1.
