One of my favorite tournaments to watch! Sad that no Aggies in the field!
might get ripped but that course is meh besides 16,17,18.
I love the course for pros. The closer you get to the hazards off the tee the easier the second shot is. If you draw it off the tee box you have to hit a fade into the green and vise versa. I think it's great. I would have a hard time breaking 110 out there for sure.TXAGGIES said:

They started on back 9, playing front 9 now.

I do wonder though if a lot of the guys I have seen win in the last year would have the wins if the game wasn't fractured.
I think the only players that will have better resumes than Aberg once they're done playing are Rahm, Brooks, Mickelson, and maybe DJ unless you just go by majors and not wins.

It's funny watching Scheffler boat race JT and Fowler. He has such a steady game and does not make huge mistakes. JT used to be nails with his short irons but he is now average to below average. That used to bail out his erratic driving and putting. Fowler just no longer in the same league as the top guys. JT is fixing to be in the same boat as Fowler.
Rickie fell apart on the last day, but had a huge run at the US Open 8 months ago. I wouldn't be quick to say he can't run with the top guys anymore, he came on strong after a swing change last year.

If Scheffler can get his putting down like his last win, we could have the best stretch of golf in the last 20-25 years by a player not named Tiger. Especially with Rahm playing LIV.

JT needs to get a wedge lesson from Day or Stricker to stop spinning it so much.
Clark just keeps playing good in big events. I don't know if it's all due to that sports psychologist he's been seeing but he's just killing it now.

Rory had a few favorable drops...
not sure how anyone can see from 300 yards away which side the ball hit first. probably best to err on side of caution with your drop. at the end of the day its his call though.
There was a Sky Sports media guy that says he saw it hit above the line. He was actually one that Jordan generally referred to as "these guys say it hit below", and was like "hold on a sec, i saw it hit above".

Clark is on a heater. Brian Harman is having a good day. He's 6 under on the round despite 3 bogeys.
Back to back 65s for Clark. Norman's scoring record might be in jeopardy this weekend. Any idea what the weather is supposed to do this weekend?
Wow. McElroy, Spieth, Hovland made a complete mess of 14. McElroy and Spieth doubled and Hovland made bogey. McElroy lucky to get a double after hitting a ball straight into trees from a bunker and having the ball bounce into the fairway. Spieth hit a ball into bushes. Just a miserable hole for them.
Smylie kaufman and Kevin kisner commentating from 17 is pretty awesome. Kisner keeps bagging so hard on Kaufman
Kisner is so f'n awesome. I could listen to that guy roast golfers all day
