Does anybody play them? I'm considering upgrading to the JPX 923 hot metals from my 2012 TM Rocketbladez this season. I'm curious of any experiences you guys may have had with them.

I play exactly what you are considering going to.

I really like them. Forgiving and plenty long.

I've been playing the JPX850s for a while now and still love them. Everyone I know who plays Mizunos loves them as much as I do.

MP-18 player here. Love Mizuno, my next set of irons will likely be Mizuno as well.

Have considered a blended JPX set many times. The hot metals are crazy long. Depending on your HCP you may or may not want them throughout the entire bag.

923 Pros here. Love them

Had a MP30/32 combo set I built out then went to MP64's and currently the Pro 225s. Only played Mizuno for the last 20 years

Can't go wrong with Mizzys. Great clubs.

Play the 921 pros. Great clubs

I no longer play mizunos as I have too many fillings in my teeth

But I miss the orgasmic feel of hitting a real mizuno (MP) in the sweet spot….

Still rocking MP4's still love them

Still using my 24 year old Mizuno T-Zoid Sure (Shovel) irons. Loft and lies bent to my spec with lighter Nippon GH-950 shaft filled with shock dampener and Midsize MCC Plus4 grip. A lot of time and effort spent on making it work for me.

Hit it pure often and from everywhere, flat, downhill, side hill, above feet, below feet downhill lies etc. Which I can't do even from a perfect lie teed up.

I went from TM Burners 2.0 to JPX 900 and I love my clubs they are great irons.

I play these and they're pretty amazing-- That said, take an extra practice swing on hills and weird lies, they aren't as forgiving.

When I play golf, I play my old set of MP-29's.

I play mixed MP53 & MP54. They're blades and can fly.

I love mine. I just can't seem to remember hot to swing properly between late November early march.

What Guerrin RIFE putter is that in the bottom of the pic? I still have my Barbados Island Series Center Shaft Mallet from circa 2011 or so, and it is my GO-TO.

For my last years trip to Ireland…I added a Scotty.

I played a MP 30/32 Combo set for 15+ years. I replaced them last year with a really nice set of used MP 60s. Nothing looks like a Mizuno and very few irons feel as good or are as workable.

I will look at the new ones when I decide to get another set, but not the JPXs. Nothing wrong with those, but just not the same.

I play the 921 pros. Sweet clubs… except the tricky little 4 iron.

I play the 923 hot metals and they are great. I love them and they are very forgiving. I was playing 1993 Ping BeCU ISI's ver traditional lofts and as I have gotten older I have lost distance. These are set strong and I have been able to get distance back and then some. Get fitted so you get the right shaft for you.

Overall they were a great purchase and I would do it again!!!

I have re-painted the logo and I added red for the model number. Original is black. Several times.

I took these right before Ireland for documentation in case of lost clubs. I didn't take the full set to save a few pounds.

Mizuno's hold up for a few rounds. I'm sure several club manufacturers produced the same back in the day. These old clubs are not lofted to modern day club specs, nor do they have a spring board face. But, they are solid and I'm ok with the plus's and minus's they give me. I don't get my feeling hurt that young strong highly flexible kids hit different clubs into greens that I do for the same number. I'm now too old to want to change.

I am reorienting myself to the game after a 12 year hiatus (hence the reference to the old Guerrin Rife putter I asked about). However, back in the day, my buddies gave me heck about the meticulous care I took of my clubs, especially showing up with ultra clean clubs to a big fundraiser scramble with them after playing a practice round which I'd lit it up (for me) saying I'd washed all the good hits away. Clubs and shoes were always shined, every tournament.

That being said, you sir, are the winner. Ain't even close.

I play a combo set of Mizuno Pro 921's and Mizuno Pro 923's. Not as far as any Hot Metal Pro's, but better feel. Mizuno makes great irons.

I've got these but the lefty SELs.

Love them they feel so pure.
