Anyone have any experience with the two of these, preferably head to head? Thoughts?

I play Mizuno Pro 223 and love them, never played Titleist so not much to compare to.

This probably will be of no help but I'm old and like to reminisce and lament.

I played with MP33 and liked it. But one time I mis hit the 7 iron and my ball came up 15 yards short into a pond. That's the last time I played it.

2 years ago, I swung a brand new T-100 8 iron on my simulator that hit the Hosel and made a big ass hole on my wall.

There you go.

I gamed the 225 for awhile last year.

It was the first Mizuno iron I did not like. It reminded me of the original p790 launch. The occasional, GIANT launcher would ruin holes. I had one 5 iron into the wind that went 230 on the gps. That is 35 yards longer than my stock number for it.

Good to know. That's a concern for sure with those types of irons…wondering if the benefits on mis-hits outweigh the occasional jumper?

They were not worth it for me. Normally, the trade off is those toeshots still get a good number, and make up the lost shots.

I did not find the irons particularly forgiving for the amount of help they were supposed to have. The TM 790 line is a few iterations in, and they seem to have found the right balance. Same with a few others. I know the HMB was similar to 225s, but were just too unpredictable to me.

I actually ended up with i210s, and those are little shorter for sure. They definitely are more consistent across the face though.

Forgiveness on Mis-hits should always outweigh the occasional jumper. In fact, there should never be an occasional jumper.

I bag a T200 3i as a driving iron.

It is really long, but frankly the feel is not good -- and numb even on pretty well struck shots. I have little idea where I am striking the ball on the face. But since I am hitting it off the tee on Par 5s and short Par 4s I really don't care about distance control/flyers, or the fact the T200 don't spin much and will roll out a lot. It carries like a hybrid with less tendency to duck hook.

T100 is a very forgiving iron that is not punishing on mi****s, spins really well, and feels like a forged iron.

Unless you have a big issue launching the ball I don't see the benefits of T200 vs T100 in middle & short irons.

I've started looking into the t150's also. I think the t200 and the Mizuno 225's and 245's might actually go too far…wedge gapping would be a nightmare with a pw that flies 160. Thanks for the feedback everyone
