Most likely looking at attending my BIL's bachelor party in Vegas in July and was wondering what course(s) you guys would recommend in and around the area for a group of guys? While I'd love to play Shadow, I'm not dropping $1250 on a green fee.

Budget would probably be in the <$250 range. Also, I've never traveled with clubs before, so as a lefty is it worth it to bring my own or better to just rent a set for the day and not deal with the hassle? Especially if it's maybe only for 1 round.

For 1 round I may rent clubs unless you're married to your sticks. My guess is it'll be a booze fest on the course so it won't matter. I'll let others recommend courses but you're going to find great courses and much better prices outside of Vegas.

July heat and hangover plus drunk golf just don't sound fun at all but unless you're playing dunkass bachelor party golf in Vegas, you ain't having fun.

We really enjoyed TPC Vegas (TPC Sumerlin is members only, further out and more expensive) About 20 minute Uber, $260 week day rate clubs included. Course in great shape.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. I'll float a few of these to the group and see what the consensus is.

I'll have to look into the caddie girls. I'd honestly never heard of this and ended up down the rabbit hole of what's out there. Definitely some food for thought.

honestly, if you have input, skip July golf and spend the money on a couple of nice pool cabanas

I played behind a group of four guys who had two of the birdie girls. I can tell you that they had a lot of fun. One of the only times I was happy that the course was packed and that I had to wait on them.

Our group had some platinum tees in Scottsdale for a bachelor party this past November. Ended up being a great time.

angel park if you want something close to town and cheap. We played it a handful of years back and it was great for the bach party I was with. Close to the strip and cheap with club rentals. Decent track as well in case the group your are with aren't serious golfers.
