surprised this hasn't been discussed yet. It appears Tiger and Nike are going there seperate ways. I know he doesn't wear the shoes anymore, but damn I am surprised they are separating after all these years.

Interesting, but first they ditched making clubs and then his gimp foot had to ditch the shoes, so I guess it was inevitable at some point. I also wonder what his value is now, as we have a lot of young golfers who have never seen him do much more than be a brand. As valuable as he is, if your goal is to stay ahead with younger golfers, his impact relative to his price tag may be flipping as you are basically only selling hats and shirts on his name now.

I bet Nike lab did make shoes for Tiger... but Tiger must be pissed at Nike for some reason.

Not a big deal. I could see TaylorMade creating a robust apparel division with Tiger having an ownership stake.

Seems like Nike's heart hasn't been in golf for a while now. And I'm sure Tiger is still very expensive. I'm guessing this is fairly mutual.

Could an endorsement deal with Noodle (Long and Soft) be in the works?

I think this might be where it's headed. A manufacturer is supposedly creating a clothing line and him leaving Nike would make sense if it's TM.

I used to be glued to anything Tiger. I didn't even bother to watch him in the Hero Open. He's certainly lost the appeal to me anyway.

The TW 13 shoes were pretty awesome. Can still get them, but they're like $240. Think I paid around $100 back then. Hard pass.

The impression I get from a hint during interviews, is that for a long time Jordan golf shoes were being held back for the benefit of the TW brand.

In recent years more Jordan golf shoes have been released, and they probably have eclipsed TW shoes/brand.

I'd agree with this. I see way more Jordans on the course than TW
