This thread so not turned out the way OP wanted...
To get back on track, my group of 16 guys got booked for June 2025 as well today OP. We've been talking about it for a while and are glad to have it booked. June 2 to June 7.
It's brutal how early you have to book Bandon. We are going in April 2024 and I had to book in August of 2022. The good news is I paid a deposit for 12 so it'll be like a free vacation by the time we get there

It is cool though to see all the sweet spots y'all are gonna be hitting up.
Back to Bandon- seriously, they got play up the booking process like you're dialing in for Taylor Swift tickets. Somehow our buddy who did all the planning pestered them enough before hand had it all set up ahead of time, just needed to call in w a CC. We've got 32 that summer as well. Plenty of time to tune up my bump and runs!

If I was going back to Bandon, I would also practice knock downs and punches. Hit the ball with bottom 3 grooves.
So if anyone needs an extra, let me know! Wish I had a group of 8 I could put together for trips like this but can't. Can barely get 4 guys that have the time/money and a decent wife to plan a trip like this.

2025 might be Michigan to go to Arcadia, Forest Dunes, etc. Streamsong may also be in contention.
I cannot say enough good things about Streamsong. That was our groups first trip in Oct 2020. They must've been desperate for people to come considering our golf package included a Scotty Cameron putter.

To your last point, Tom Coyne in his book "A Course Called America" said that a great golf trip is less about planning well, and more about marrying well.

I know not everyone likes to do this, but I just came out here alone last second and am sitting here right now. I always tell my wife I'm gonna watch the weather in the winter and you can get a good streak which is what I got this week so far.
I have a few friends who can go last second but no one was able this time around and it's nice meeting new people and having a solo trip and some quiet time.
Obviously last second it's easier to get in the less people you have. I book trips here and I do this once in a while as well. The weather can be surprisingly decent in the winter if you don't mind playing in 50-55 degree weather. It was more difficult to get times this time around but I am playing mostly where I want.
I have to say yesterday the weather was PERFECT. 58, sunny and no wind on Bandon Trails. The day before was cloudy and 54 with 5-10mph wind and it was just fine on Bandon Dunes. Today is looking similar to 2 days ago.
The new Ghost Tree Grill adds an upscale eating option on site.

Me and a buddy have done a few trips just the pair of us. We have a group of 8, but it is such a pain in the ass to try and plan something that works for all of them and their wives/kids schedule. I pretty much gave up this year after we had set aside a week in May to go to Scottsdale and when it came time to book everything about half the guys had scheduled **** that week/weekend and it fell apart.DeBoss said:

Seems like it's much easier when everyone gets to about 50 and their kids are older and, if they're still married, their wives have chilled

Lots of dreams like the Pinehurst resort and area non resort courses. Arcadia and Forest Dunes. The Branson trio, Gamble Sands, Colorado and Nebraska. Bend, Oregon.

Love seeing all the cool trips that everyone is taking. Bandon is on my wish list for my 40th bday and I'm 37, so I guess I better get on booking it!

Called Bandon today for a summer 2025 trip. Going to try 8 this time around instead of 4. Only booking through June so should open up July/August in next month.
