I hardly watch televised golf unless it's a major so it doesn't really matter to me.

I actually find the Youtube golfers more entertaining.

I thought Gary Koch got canned a year ago with Maltbie.

The Azinger news is interesting but not surprising. Came off as a poor man's Johnny Miller. Interested to see who gets a shot.

Didn't care for Zinger always talking about how much pressure the guys were under. Koch was ok.

I liked Maltbie a lot. He has a good sense of humor but doesn't overdo it.

I wonder if they'll make a run at Colt Knost to replace Azinger.

Name I saw mentioned most in an article this morning is Geoff Ogilve. People think he'd do well. Another was Paul McGinley who I think would be good.

Not going to miss Azinger one bit.

I'd have to say that the most hated thing in golf on TV is the unrelenting barrage of commercials on NBC. If they keep it up without a corresponding increase in the quality of their coverage (seems to be going the opposite way), they're going to (continue to?) drive viewers away and eventually lose their package to another entity (can't say network anymore). Amazon, Apple, et al., are likely biding their time to make a bid.
