Anybody watch this? I put it on this morning while I was having coffee and I just don't understand the audience. The same went for all of The Match.

I can't imagine that people who don't already watch golf are tuning into these things with large numbers. I also don't think your hardcore pro golf fan is interested in watching some other sport athlete who is a decent single digit handicap play.

For example: What is Marshawn Lynch or Bert Kriesher doing for the product? I can't imagine anyone tuned in because of those people, so once someone watched did they make it better in any way?

no. did not watch for the reasons you listed above. I like watching pro golfers play pro golf.

Same reason I wouldn't tune in to watch pro baseball players play pro football......all these new golf shows and events are stupid across the board.

I didn't watch but buddies in our normal golf group did. They said it was awful

They didn't like the production. They liked the personalities on the broadcast but they said the production was awful and made it unwatchable.

And FWIW the entire F1 in Las Vegas is apparently quite the cluster fk and not going well.

Its not tournament golf but it is somewhat entertaining. The Sphere in the background is kind of cool.

Have it on in while working. Keeps me away from all the coaching search.

Should have had pro golfers driving F1 instead. I'd love to see Bryson get shoehorned into an F1 car. Or Koepka sideswipe Rory diving into the inside on the first corner at the start.

I don't know why they'd do to do this live. Just edit it down to an hour and 20 or so and then put it out with a little production value.

Also, I know people complain about PGA Tour broadcasts "not showing enough shots', but this wasn't able to even show every shot with only 2 groups on the course.

That **** with the doll and ninjas was just weird.

If anything this showed there is some real talent and ability to produce live sports well. That whole thing was absolutely terrible. Like it was clear it was produced by a bunch of 20-something idiots who have never played golf and clearly never even sniffed a live sports production prior to being put in charge of that abomination. We only finished to keep watching just how terrible the production could get and it did not disappoint. The only redeeming thing about it was Joel dahmen talking trash talking Homa and Thomas.
