I'm sure it'll be a great experience and it'll be pristine.
$1250 per person is a price I don't think I could ever stomach for a course that isn't historically notable, architecturally significant, or in an insanely beautiful location. That price could do all 5 courses at Bandon Dunes, all 3 courses at Pebble Beach, or many rounds in Scotland.

its free and I have have been fortunate enough to play most of the notable courses in the US and Scotland, usually on someone else's dime.
well then....
If anyone has a connection for Cypress or Augusta, I am missing those two. I did Pine Valley and Merian earlier this year.

I'd say this, the customer service was great, they picked us up at the hotel in a limo and directly to the course. The course is in great condition and we played at a casual pace and only saw 2 other groups all day. We had a great caddy and we enjoyed our time.
That being said, in no way would I pay for that out of my own pocket. I have played plenty of $200-300 courses that are more memorable, but the experience was great and golf was good.

Good to know. I'm heading up there first week of December, and that's one of the courses they're trying to get us on (I don't have high hopes).

Limited tee times that just happen to open up and only seeing 2 other groups on the course over an ~4 hour period don't really seem to jive to me unless they are artificially restricting access to create the illusion of exclusivity. With that price tag, it makes sense.

They only allow 1 tee time per hour or so. Two some tee times before 11 or 12 only and must be a foursome after that. Thu-Sun maybe Fri-Sun is blocked for casino comps only.
