I really like the feel of the Foot Joy golf gloves, but they only seem to last me 2 or 3 rounds. I buy the two packs and change them every 3-4 holes, hanging one on the cart to dry. My hands sweat a lot. Anyway, looking for something that might be a little more durable.

I dont know about more durable, but I haven't worn anything but MG gloves. They are like $7 a piece and I feel like they last long enough for me. They feel really high quality. I'll buy a dozen at the beginning of the year and probably have a couple left over at the end of the year.

The most durable gloves are synthetic rain gloves. Especially for sweaty hands.

You can wash these and will last you a season. And they're cheap. Moved away from leather gloves and never looked back.

ABOLUTELY.

I use Finger Tens during summer (they come in different colors, white, dark gray etc) and FJ rain gloves in the winter because quite frankly, it helps keep hand warmer.

I keep my glove on the entire round. So I freely dip my gloved hand in the cooler or get it wet and it grips even better. And these gloves hardly ever wear out.

Now, if you're ripping leather gloves frequently, possibly it's wrong size or you're causing a lot of friction in the grip?

A friend of mine turned me on to Infinity gloves, there 7.00 each and they're leather. I bought 6 to try out, so far, I have no complaints. Really nice glove......especially for 7.00.

Favorite glove is still Bionic, then Titleist Players glove.
God,....I really hate the sips!

Taylormade Stratus Tech has been great for me. 10+ rounds per glove. And 2 for $20.

I wore Footjoy weather soft for many years (20+) but had routine issues with the palm pad slipping this summer - not sure whether due to the extra sweat given the weather or maybe some change in the product? Regardless, needed a change. I spent the extra to try Titleist Players, and also grabbed some of the Costco gloves. For me, Costco's were the better option by far - they've held up really well, and are 1/3 the price of Titleist - they seem to run a little smaller, so if you're between sizes, get the bigger ones.

I switched to these a few months back. Still on my first glove and I play on average 2-3 x per week.

Might be your grip. I use footjoy gloves and I get pretty sweaty as well. They eventually start to rip where I pull them over my palm but the ones I currently have lasted the summer ~1 round a week, rotating 2-3 gloves

Has anybody here ever heard of Cornhuskers Lotion?

It is a lotion that a little goes a long way, and we use it on cool days when your non glove hand is dry and not gripping the club well. This lotion will actually become somewhat tacky feeling and help the non glove grip.

So, most I know use the FJ StaSof gloves, as do I. when the palm part starts to dry out and feel like our grip is slipping, we take a little Cornhuskers lotion and work that in well with the palm and fingers of the StaSof gloves.

You can get another couple rounds out of a glove, especially if you rotate them with a new one over a round.

$25 is $25 for a glove, and with what amounts to $0.05 of Cornhuskers, its worth it. I would assume it would work as well with any leather glove.

Just a thought. Nowadays, Amazon is the best place to get Cornhuskers.
"Green" is the new RED.

Just ordered a 3 pack of the Genesis. Look forward to trying them out.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have been using Bionics for a long time.
