C.C. Creations hosts this event for the benefit of golfers from the Brazos Valley and surrounding communities. There is really very limited competitive golf available to golfers in this area. We hope this fills a small part of that void.

C.C. Creations Partnership is the name of this golf tournament. This event is for a two-player team competing together. Competition the first day is a traditional two-player scramble. The second day format is Chapman, which is two ball alternate shot for the first two shots on each hole before a single ball is chosen to alternate until holed. There are no extras (i.e. mulligans, string, throws, kicks, monster drives, etc.) available to any team.

Some of you are quick to locate a partner! Thank you for the early entries.

We made a few adjustments to this year's event in response to feedback from last year's competitors.

First, players of a more advanced age will have the option to play from forward tee boxes. This change should provide those players a more enjoyable experience and a better sense of competitiveness. Flighting the field based on Saturday's scramble round will maintain fairness across all teams playing.

Second, and possibly more impactful, the payout for this year's tournament prizes will be cash rather than clubhouse credit. For a full field tournament, teams will compete for cash prizes and skins totaling more than $11,000. All tournament proceeds remain in the event and will be returned to the field as cash prizes.

While the Americans floundered in Friday Morning Foresomes, you can try your hand at the alternate shot format with the benefit of a safety net! After playing a scramble with your partner in the first round of the C.C. Creations Partnership, Chapman is the format on day two.

In the Chapman format, you and your partner play alternate shot with two balls in play initially. Both players hit a tee shot of their own. Then they switch and hit a second shot from the result of their partners tee shot. After they've both hit those two shots, the team chooses a single ball and plays true alternate shot from there until it is holed.

This format presents the opportunity to feel the pressure of knowing that your partner will endure the consequences of your shot, but limits the downside risk of carding a huge blow up hole.

At what age do players get to use the forward tees?

Great question.

Maroon - Men < 55
White - Men 55-64
Blue - Men 65-74
Yellow - Men 75+ and All Ladies

T&P for any kids having to play from the Maroon

It's our understanding that playing an event like this would technically jeopardize a junior competitor's UIL eligibility. To avoid that nightmare scenario, as indicated on the flyer the event specifically prohibits contestants with remaining high school eligibility.

Hopefully you can find a partner that's exhausted theirs. If not, contact us. We've had single players looking for a partner to team with in the past.

It's tournament week. Despite the frigid weather across Texas today, the weekend forecast continues to look great.

After a bizarre fog delay each morning, the weather turned out beautiful this weekend for the 2023 C.C. Creations Partnership. Great course conditions at The Golf Club at Texas A&M yielded good competition across all three flights.

Congratulations to Mason Markham and Marcus Bennett for their tournament win plus securing the lone skin on Saturday worth $1,080 with a birdie on hole #7. By any measure, that's a pretty good weekend!
