Not me, we've had this trip booked for 18 months.

Crazy how far in advance you have to book to get desirable dates and the top golf destinations.

I think my first trip to Bandon in 2009 we booked it about a month in advance. How times have changed.

Cliffs is up there among best courses I've ever played. Links is super fun as well.

You'll have a blast. It's an awesome trip. Halifax is a cool town so if you're flying in and out of there it's worth killing an evening in town.

We are staying in downtown Halifax tomorrow night. Looking forward to checking it out.

We are playing the Cliffs 4x and Links 2x so it sounds like our ratio fits with your description.

If I had six rounds that's how I'd split them.

Somewhat related...have any of y'all ever brought a drone on golf trips?

I feel like if you could deploy the drone and have it follow you for a couple holes or fly it when you're on the move wouldn't hold up pace of play too badly and you could get some awesome shots of courses you're playing.

I have a love/hate relationship with 17. Tee shot is super tough. But if you hit the fairway you can putt down the hill which I really enjoy. Made a fun par that way.

Also made a couple of doubles by missing the fairway.

Thinking we are going to try to book it for 2026 summer. Probably 3 nights and play both of them twice.

I called and asked when reservations open and they gave me the typical line about how they don't know but sign up for the newsletter. Is it on the same timeline as Sand Valley around February? Do they fill up as quickly as Bandon and SV etc?
