I have a caddytek V2 that I got on a Costco special and I love it… replaced a new Blued Tees

My blues tees could get 3 diff readings in 3 tries. And a couple yards off every time.

Sureshot 5000-IPS. Locks in quick. Accurate. Light. Solid build. Bought mine on Amazon about 3 years ago.

I concur with the CaddyTek from Costco. I asked a few months back because I too was using super inaccurate (if it would even pick up a yardage) BlueTees.

I have the Gogogo from Amazon. It has been just fine. I have compared it against other folks more expensive ones and the yardage checks out. The more expensive ones lock the pin faster. I am about 3 years on it, 2 batteries. It hit the pavement once really hard and is fine. I got over served and left it on the cart and the cart boys didn't even take it, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

the AOFAR on amazon has been my go to recommendation. I had the original for years, and got the newest version for xmas just to spend some amazon gift cards on something.

I actually use a Gogogo for hunting. It's been great - only issue is in very low light situations, which don't usually occur on the golf course!

Haven't changed the batteries in three years.
What do you boys want for breakfast BBQ ?.....OK Chili.

I think the general consensus is get on Amazon and find a reasonable priced one with good reviews. All rangefinders these days for the most part do the same thing. I wouldn't over pay for a golf branded bushnell, or whatever thats for sure.

I was gifted a Precision Pro several years ago and its still going strong. Before that I used a free one that my mother in law got at a work conference. Was prolly the cheapest rangefinder for the money at the time and that damn thing was just as accurate as the fancy bushnells with people I played with. I gifted it to a friend and he still uses it.

Get something in your budget and take care of it and it will be fine imo.

I tried one of these last year. Did not like it at all. It felt very cheap and was not accurate at all. Maybe i just got a lemon, but i sent it back.

I ended up ordering a Callaway 300 Pro instead, mainly because I really wanted something with a built-in magnet. I like it a lot.

I've recommended it to several people and never heard anything negative back, plus owned two now myself. The accuracy and build quality has always been nice. Definitely sounds like a lemon. It also had good customer service when I emailed them a question.

Ironically I had the old Callaway yellow range finder before I had the aofar, and it was awful for me. Started fine, but didn't take long to stop locking on, and then just quit altogether.
