Anyone ever heard of it, used it, have a buddy that tried it?

Came free with my G425s last spring and ised them for about a month (7-8 rounds) including using the Caddie Link which supposedly picks up shots better than a phone. I ultimately thought it was a waste of time for a few reasons:

1) Still missed way too many shots, especially putts. So lots of cleanup to do. I want to spend my round focused on my game, not correcting Arccos.
2) Proximity to the hole after approach shots was one of the items I was most interested in, but it was just not reliable at accurately pinpointing my ball location or where I marked the pin

Ultimately, I thought it was more a distraction than an aid

If your interested I have 14 sensors a superstroke sensor and the Link I'll let go for $40. All you would need is a subscription.

If Lonestar doesn't take them, I'd be interested in them to see if I can track my daughter's round. I manually keep her putting stats so I' more interested in tee to green. Just the distances and clubs she is using. I am curious, the sensor's have a 2 year battery life, then what? You just get replacement sesnsors? I do not think the batteries are replaceable.

I would just email support and they would send me new ones. In some cases you can buy replacement sensors on special but I always got free ones.

I've used it for about 4 years. Wouldn't golf without it. Doesn't miss many shots and easy to correct if it does. Gives you accurate info on true distance to pin and other targets. Provides average shot distances per club. After round data is helpful for improving game.

Do use the link thing or an Apple Watch?

This is where I'm at too.

I got Arccos sensors and link at Christmas. I like it a lot. It captures 95% of shots. On the green you can mark the pin location manually or standing by pin and pushing the link button. I usually manually adjust it for pin location. I'm a fan of the strokes gained and lost reporting and that helps me focus my practice based on that data. True club distance and range is also helpful for gapping evaluation but the distances don't take into account hitting into or with wind (although you can edit which shots to use or not for your smart distances).

Currently I've been using the grint app so it's not a big deal to input data for me. But if I can get more back from it that would be cool

I've got the link but don't use it as I like my phone in pocket for easy access. Several friends use the link and it works great as well.

Ever tried with the Apple Watch? Does that replace the phone in pocket?

I use the Apple Watch link. It's awesome. Don't have to have your phone, can scroll between different screens, set pin location, etc. it doesn't feel like I'm distracted from golf at all

What is the yearly membership cost. I can't find it anywhere

Same here. I use the link but the phone in pocket does work better.

I think the yearly membership cost is $156, maybe a few cents less. They sell a gift card for it for 12 months that is $155.88 I believe.

Lonestar on the Arcos website click on "shop" and you will see it next to accessories, listed as membership gift card.

Arccos recently updated their ap to make use of the Apple Watch better. I tried it today and didn't like it as much as using the link. It recorded my round as exercise and messed with my normal calorie tracking. Not a huge deal but important enough to me that I'll just use link.

I used my Arcoss for the first time yesterday. It was a great experience. Only hiccup came because the putter sensor didn't work with my grip (but a new one is on the way). This caused one hole to get screwy but I was able to fix it manually for the most part.

I used the linc and it caught all shots. My apple watch gave me gps distances without having to carry my phone which was nice.

All in all I was very pleased and look forward to using the system with the putter next round.

Personal highlight was the digital record of my 365yd drive! Never mind that it was downhill roll aided
