From what I heard this weekend from critics/golf industry folks that got to see the series early, this thing could be interesting to the very casual or non-fan, but less so for the avid fan. Don't really learn or see much you didn't already know, including LIV vs PGA. We'll see

I could see that. Probably not a lot of bombshells for those that follow golf pretty closely. I do think that the peak behind the curtain will be interesting though. Looking forward to it.

Yeah after watching the first episode, it did have a few moments where it's explaining the cut line and what the majors are. Stuff where if you don't know this, you're probably not watching this to begin with. I still thought it was cool just because I like behind the scenes stuff.

1) this pic is the 12th at Augusta...sorta. Guessing they color washed it/photoshopped it for whatever reason. It looks awful.

2) The show is called "Full Swing", not "sawed off 8i fade".

3) Trying to guess if the golfer is legit and I am gonna guess Finau?

2 episodes in. I'm thoroughly enjoying it

So I binged it all today as I worked and as an avid golf fan, I still really enjoyed it. The basic information was limited to the first episode to get non-golfers interested and not make them feel stupid.

Lots of great player commentary and family deep dives, including players I didn't know a whole lot about. Each episode is really focused on comparing and contrasting a few players' stories and their backgrounds and performances in a few key tournaments. I won't ruin any of the stories but anyone who is a sucker for some behind the scenes footage and likes the players will enjoy it.

If you're looking for some ground-breaking info or investigative reporting about the PGA/LIV drama or anything like that, you'll be disappointed.

Watched the first two episodes so far. It is so refreshing to see golf in a different, more mainstream way. These guys are always so guarded and we know so little about them unless they are people like Homa who show up on podcasts or No Laying Up etc. Its nice to see some behind the scenes.

Is all of the content great? No. Is there plenty that is clearly scripted? Yes. But I'm enjoying it so far and the wife is even somewhat interested in watching them. If that leads to her at least occasionally interested in watching while I'm watching events, thats a win.

Loving it so far after the first two eps.

My wife is actually enjoying it more. She enjoys watching golf with me but I think now will enjoy it more since she has a little more context on who the players are and their motivations. I don't think it'll bring more viewers like Drive to Survive but I think it'll make casual viewers a little more vested.

God the Waste Management Open looks awful. I wouldn't attend to even watch as a fan. I couldn't imagine playing through that **** show.

I said it on the other thread, but I will say it again here. It is one big giant frat party. Guys pounding beers trying to act cool, and hot chicks showing their stuff off. It's cool for a little while, but would get old very quickly week to week.

I've never been, but I'd bet if someone was to walk the course and get away from #16,17,18 the atmosphere is probably a little more tame?

I'm all for having a good time. But that type of enjoyment would have been great in my 20s. Maybe for a bachelor party too.

But yeah, they chug beers and launch them onto the course. Happy Gilmore behavior lol

Bottles happened one time and it started last year on one hole. They switched to cups this year because of it. I agree that part is stupid but the overall atmosphere is fantastic and the players absolutely love it
