Just returned from an event/tournament at The Falls. Clubhouse nearly complete, new pools and some dirt work remain. Food and drink was great as was the service.

The golf course was fantastic, super green for this time of year. The greens were slick and only going to get faster. A few minor hole changes and a lot of woods thinned out and water expanded. Can't wait to go back.

Glad to see that the course is back up and going again! Fairways look to be in great shape. I can remember back when they had bent grass greens when I was younger. Used to play it on a regular basis. Hopefully, the new owner will keep up the good work! Keep those pictures coming!!

I don't think completely, not yet at least but could be wrong. Be prepared to pay north of $200/round. They really want to keep traffic down and course healthy and well kept.

last I heard initiation was going to be around 500k to join. Between that and if he wants to charge over $200 a round he will succeed in having limited traffic on the course.

I believe the goal is to compete against the Big Easy. Good effin luck. The Falls is a good course, but it doesn't compete with the BE, especially now with the new 18 being built.

Some people have enough money to do what they want. Apparently this is one of those people. I am looking for a place to go in two weeks when the Big 12 women's championship is at Houston Oaks so I called to see about playing The Falls. I was told unless you're interested in membership, guest of a member or part of a corporate or fundraising group allowed access you can't play. I asked about having our pro call and see if he could set me up and they said no to that. They did ask if they could send me a membership package to complete and see if they would be interested in me as a potential member. Said membership is full at this time and they won't quote the initiation fee. I obviously would not fit in at a place like this but I expect I'll be hearing from them because they asked if the number I called from was a good number for me.

it's a shame that wont make rates decently available for locals. I'd join in a heartbeat if I could afford it. I have great memories playing the course growing up....On a side note I know several families who still live out there, but are in the process of selling. They said the community feel out there is gone.

We used to do our Fantasy Football boys weekend there back in the day.
It appears things have changed significantly since then.

Holy chit! The 500k isn't a typo?

I remember the bent grass greens and playing it for free. At least I have my memories!
Today, unfortunately, many Americans have good reason to fear that they will be victimized if they are unable to protect themselves. And today, no less than in 1791, the Second Amendment guarantees their right to do so. - Justice Samuel Alito 2022
