Now that we've firmly established that it is now the Nel-dawg, back to actual golf.

It is a little windier and warmer today, but some of the morning guys were able to go low. Let's go with Saturday leader will be Sam Burns at -20 at the end of the day.

Tomorrow's weather should be interesting with morning storms probably.

I forgot that the guy has some cheating scandal tied to him as well. What a joke.

Apparently Rahm's caddie got into it with Kang on the following hole and Rahm had to hold him back.

Lol. Trinity Forest was a horrible venue for the tournament, but that course is a 10x better and more interesting course than Craig Ranch

They should play 1-2 of the par 5's as a par 4. The US Open routinely does this. Between the storm and a cool spring, the weather this year prevented the rough from growing out. It's nowhere near where they wanted it. I think on a normal year it will be a respectable stop. Easy but not this easy. The word about it players-wise seems to be positive whereas TF drew some definite negative reactions

Totally agree, but most people don't give two ****s about golf, unfortunately. Go look at some threads here. Someone posted that they only watch 2 tournament a year, and neither are majors. That's weird to me if your a fan of the game. They play golf, but they're not really a fan of it if they only watch 2 tournament a year
I said I watch 2 PGATOUR tournaments a year. None of the majors are PGATour tournaments.

A real golf fan would know that. Just like they would know it's "The Nelson" for short.

I get the technicalities that they aren't put on by the PGA Tour, but the players do get fedex cup points by making the cut

PGA of America is not the same as the PGA Tour. Hopefully that clears that up.

PGA of America is what club pros are members of, hence why 20 club pros play in the PGA Championship every year. It's the only tournament that ams can't play in either.
