Do my shoulder exercises and get my rotator cuff better so I can play again.
I'm 9 weeks post-op on a rotator cuff surgery. Do whatever you can to avoid the surgery, but if you can't... rip the band-aid and get it done. Weeks 0-2 were miserable, every day since has been better. I'll be cleared to chip by the end of January (if teed up), full swing with no restrictions at the end of March, and near 100% pre-tear strength by end of Summer.
I screwed mine up 15-20 years ago and have just dealt with it. Looking forward to no longer being in a ton of pain every single time I play golf, pick up my kid, throw a ball, etc.
Goals:
Slow swing speed down to consistently hit fairways, bombs are fun, but water/trees/lost balls aren't.
Play 20 non-scramble rounds and improve
Get rid of the shanks
