He played on exemption during the 2017-2018 season (I think). I believe he got around 6 starts, but didn't fair too well. He hasn't played on the Korn Ferry either, so not sure if he's still working at it or not.

I assume unless something crazy happens like winning this week, Phillips will enter Korn Ferry Tour Q School? How does that work? I noticed pre-qualifying for KFT has already been done and Stage 1 starts next week (including an event at Firewheel in Garland). Is that where he would go? How do guys fresh out of college get "slotted" into KFT Q School?

edit - just did some more digging. Looks like amateurs ranked 6 - 25 in the WAGR (Chandler is 13th) as of 7/31 are exempt to first stage so that should be where he starts.

Bronson with solid round of 65 today. Finished and currently in T5 with a handful of groups to go. He has raised his level of play over last several months and off to great start for the new year.

He's setting himself up well for the upcoming reshuffle. Champ had a pretty good tournament too.

Looks like Burgoon was playing on a Medical extension to start the season and because of his high finish at the Tribute, has been removed from the reshuffle list

Interesting. I don't remember him being injured anytime in the last few years.

I don't think I'll ever understand the reshuffles.

Was Burgoon playing on a medical exemption because his wife had a baby and he got paternity leave and was out for quite a while last year? Or was he actually injured? I don't know what kind of leave these guys get for paternity.

Burgoon had at least one WD and/or missed some time due to a back injury (if I recall).

He has Twitter? The only one I've ever found for him hasn't had a tweet since 2015, but I'm not good at Twitter stalking though...

First tournament post surgery & felt good to be back! Thanks to the @pgachampionship for hosting such a first class event. Bethpage was a formidable opponent.

Phillips also made it out of the 1st round of Q School for the Korn Ferry down in The Woodlands last week. 2nd Stage is in late October/early November - I would assume he'll play in the qualifier at Craig Ranch in McKinney.

Another good showing for Burgoon this past week. Champ made some coin as well, and Phillips earns his first check as a pro after starting +5 thru his first 5 holes on Thursday.

Pavan with another great finish on the Euro tour, where he was playing on the course he grew up. I looked the other day, and he's got a legit shot at making the Tokyo Olympics.

Good luck to Palmer this week at the CJ Cup!

Awesome win for Maggert at the Champions Tour Final, which pushed him over 1.1 million in earnings for the season...not a bad year.

THIS WEEK
- Burgoon and Champ tee it up in Mexico (don't stiff your caddie)
- Arnaus, Nacho and Pavan are in South America, last tournament before the Final
- Pavan, Palmer and Champ are all in the top 100 of the OWGR
