The camp I work at is getting a putting green. Contractor out of San Antonio is supposed to start on Monday.
Should be similar in layout to the one pictured below without the bunker.
Dimensions for total project are 45' long x 40' wide narrowing down to about 35' near the middle. My thought is to maximize putting surface and minimize fringe area, but I would like to have at least one edge with a 3-4 ft edge for chipping. It will be the TigerTurf True Putt 46oz. putting surface and Sierra 60 oz. fringe area.
Any do's and dont's or things that you wish you had done differently with your green? Just looking for any insight on things I should be thinking about or looking for since I've never been involved with a project like this. TIA!!!
