Looking for recs on a good sun hat. Not really into the straw Greg Norman style. Any good suggestions?

Straw cowboy hat. I've done it many times.

Straw hats are awesome, scalp stays cool and brim shades face and neck and ears. One you get used to the feeling that your club is going to hit it (it won't!) you'll love it.

You only have a 7 5/8 and the XL is too tight?? Count me out then. I'm a 7 3/4, and my brother is a 7 7/8

Have yall thought about going to Home Depot and getting a bucket for your head? They're about $5 and only come in orange, but it will keep the sun off.

I am a 7 3/4 and the Quiksilver hat fits just fine

Pukka makes a good golf hat, they're usually sold with custom logos in shops

Ended up ordering an imperial Coolcore hat. Supposedly you can dunk it in water and it cools you down kinda deal. Seems to get good reviews. I know it was what my caddie was wearing at Kiawah last summer. He said they all wear them.

Did you get the Norse or the Geysir?
Or did you just go with a baseball hat?

the old norse...I am very please with it. the brim has a wire running around it so it holds its shape and wont flap in the wind. I orderded the s/m and I am damn glad I did. I normally wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat and the s/m still fit somewhat loose on my head. Luckily it can be tightened and it fits good.

The m/l size I would imagine would be for people with massive watermelon heads.
