I was thinking about him the other day. The dude has fallen off the map. I don't think he's even made the cut on any tournaments this year.


edit: Just looked and he has made a couple cuts this season. He actually tied for fourth at Sanderson Farms FWIW. But he's missed the cut in 7 of his last 8 tournaments

Yeah that's why I qualified my statement by saying most.

Who wouldn't love to be elite in any major sport? Well, I guess the NFL might not be for everyone since there's a chance you're gonna start to lose it by age 50.

Too add on

If you think Fowler doesn't work his ass off and grind every week to bring it consistently you're crazy. I'd almost argue it's harder to stay at the top and play high quality golf for that long week after week. The difference between Fowler and a guy ranked 30 or 40 spots lower is less than a stroke per round.

Edit- the scoring average from the players above (Fowler and palmer) is .5 stroke difference.

Speaking of grinding, Steven Bowditch was practicing putting on my home course last week. I kept looking at him and wondering why I knew his face and then it hit me. Crazy site to see. He was playing with a guy that's a member but who is also a regular on the mini tours.

I've been following him since he won the Vegas tourney with a final round 61. I believe this is the last year of his 2 year exemption so if he doesn't get together then he may lose status. Pretty rough when the other 3 SB dudes are rolling.
