I play Pro V1 but I have really liked the Srixon Z Star balls when I've played a sleeve here or there over the past few years. That's likely what I would play if I didn't have access to free ProV's.

Just bought a bunch of ZStar after playing a couple of rounds with them, really like the feel.

I also really like the Srixon Z-Star and I tried and like the Vice Pro Plus that you can order online only.

Played at Barton Creek recently and found like 40 Pro V1's. It was awesome. It even had the word "practice" on the side so it reminds you during your round you should keep practicing. I like it.

If I had to choose, I'd say TaylorMade would be my no. 2 behind the Pro V. I've been trying out the Snell ball lately and I think it is perfectly fine. I saw a few comments above endorsing Bridgestone.... I hate Bridgestone. But to each their own, I guess. But Nike balls are the worst!

Same for me but RX. Haven't tried the S, just got a ton of new B330RX's brand new for cheap about a yr ago. Both of these balls have a great feel to me.

That's just a version of the Chrome soft. Not all of them look like that. It's supposed to help you focus on one area of the ball. It's a neat novelty to me but I don't care for it every day

I believe it's supposed to essentially add visual depth (if that's the word) and increased visibility, hopefully resulting in better ball striking. I found one and enjoyed it mostly because I could tell it was my ball from far away, similar to colored balls. A lot easier to find OB too.

Yup! Love them, especially for the price. Play and feel very much like the Pro V and if you order 5 dozen they are ~25/dzn.
