I've been playing TaylorMade Project (a) the last few months and enjoyed them. I've never hit PV1's well though.

I like the Bridgestone E6
Just bought a bunch of ZStar after playing a couple of rounds with them, really like the feel.07fta07 said:
I play Pro V1 but I have really liked the Srixon Z Star balls when I've played a sleeve here or there over the past few years. That's likely what I would play if I didn't have access to free ProV's.

Played at Barton Creek recently and found like 40 Pro V1's. It was awesome. It even had the word "practice" on the side so it reminds you during your round you should keep practicing. I like it.

Is there a reason the chromesoft balls are designed to look like soccer balls? I didn't realie they were more than a gimmicky ball until recently because of their paint job
It encourages a better strike when using the foot-wedge.The Milkman said:

I believe it's supposed to essentially add visual depth (if that's the word) and increased visibility, hopefully resulting in better ball striking. I found one and enjoyed it mostly because I could tell it was my ball from far away, similar to colored balls. A lot easier to find OB too.The Milkman said:

Yeah, but you immediately fall down and roll around on the ground like you were shot by sniper after doing it.Just an Ag said:It encourages a better strike when using the foot-wedge.The Milkman said:

Yup! Love them, especially for the price. Play and feel very much like the Pro V and if you order 5 dozen they are ~25/dzn.98Ag99Grad said:
Love the Chrome Soft.
Anyone tried the Vice balls? Saw several commercials this weekend for them.
