Had no clue this storm was coming through dallas and was on 14 when it rolled in.
I go to tee off on 15 when a gust of wind blew my clicgear over. It broke the umbrella attachment and my umbrella and range finder went sailing into the creek.
I watched it start to sink and it stopped and held right at the surface. I climbed down the bank and used my driver to retrieve it somehow.
Now I have a broke umbrella holder (not terribly worried about that) and a water soaked leupold range finder. Anyone have any experience with leupold customer service? I don't expect them to replace it, but have my fingers crossed for warranty work instead if having to buy a new one.
