I see "hot deals" for these two courses on GolfNow regularly. I know that both of these have multiple courses, does anyone have any insight on which ones to play and which ones to stay away from, if any? Reviews are rather ambiguous and they do not denote which course was played.

Indian Creek
Creek Course
Lakes Course

Firewheel
Bridges--27 Holes (Champion, Tradition, Masters)
Lakes Course
Old Course

Agalaska will be round here sometime today I bet...he'll be the one to talk to. Mentioned Indian Creek in another thread.

The Creeks course at Indian Creek is the way to go. I like that course a lot.

Firewheel:

Bridges are the newest. Used to be bent greens, don't know if they still are.

Lakes is decent.

Old course was great when opened in the 80's. Plays short now and upkeep isn't what it used to be. (Would be a great course for someone new to the game.)

I haven't played out there in over 5+ years.

HERE!

I only have experience with Indian Creek and I havent played the lakes course in years. But the Creek courae is a good track. It seems to play longer than the card indicates and has nice terrain. Its pretty challenging but the real test is the last four holes. Whatever score tou are trying to get to you better be there by 14 because after that it is very challenging. A long 3, a tight 4, a big 5 thay dog legs right and a long narrow 4 with water left and front. It is always in good shape or at least it has been every time I jave played it.

Never jeard a good thing about lakes so I never play it.

I just moved back to the metroplex and have been living at grapevine muni. I need to get out more.

I play the Creek course a lot. Alaska is spot on..a very nice course. Played the Lakes course once, and will not play again. Grapevine muni is a very nice course also if you can get on.

I'd rate them FW Bridges then IC Creeks then a sizeable gap followed by FW Lakes.
