I am going to Cancun in June for a wedding, and would like to play golf one day. Any suggestions?

The Nicklaus course at Moon Palace is money.

Moon Palace is nice, but about 20-30 minute drive. Riviera Cancun sucks. Playacar Golf Club is my favorite, but it's about an hour drive from Cancun.

Thanks. I think I might try the Golf Club at Playacar since I will have the whole day to go play, and it seems like it would be less crowded. Did you use something like Golfnow.com to set up transportation and tee times?

My transportation was provided through the resort. I had golf included at Moon Palace and Playacar Golf Club. If you are staying at a resort, you should ask them about it.

There are tee times on Golf now. You should also check into playing Mayakoba. I've never played it, but its supposedly the best course around. Thats where they held the PGA tourney. Also, its closer to Cancun than Playacar Golf Club.

One last thing. If you have trouble finding transportation to Moon or Playa del Carmen, you can always play the Hilton course. I played it one afternoon and it is really nice too. Also, its not as hatd as some of the jungle courses. It is right on the main strip of hotels in Cancun and should be a cheap cab ride from anywhere in Cancun.

Anyone know anything about the Iberostar in Cancun?
