As you may have seen on an earlier thread, I'm going to organize an unofficial Tine Board Scramble. To sign up, send an email to TineGolf@hotmail.com with:
1. Your Name
2. Your Handicap INDEX (I can send you a spreadsheet to enter scores and calculate yours)
3. Your Phone Number
4. Your Texags Handle
The details are:
Where: Greatwood Golf Course
When: Saturday, June 18th. I am going to call the clubhouse when they open this Saturday morning, which is when they begin accepting tee times for next Saturday. I will attempt to get morning tee times. Afterwards, we can meet in the clubhouse for some drinks/food. I will tell you your tee time when I get final confirmation.
Teams: Each team will be assigned by handicap, with an ABCD player on each team in a snaking format (e.g. best A with worst B). If you want to form an own team and play with your own people -- you can request that. If your estimated team handicap is worse than the tournament's average, then I will allow you to compete as usual. If your team's handicap is higher, you can either play not for the money or you can split up and join other teams. I'll try my best to accomodate people when it makes sense, but I'm not going to mess around too much when there is money at stake.
Format
-Four-man Scramble
-$20 buy-in. Winning team takes all. In the event of a tie, the money will be split evenly.
-Aggie Code of Honor on the golf course -- seriously.
-No Mulligans
-When you are not on the putting green, you may move your ball up to one club length from the original spot to hit.
-You may NOT improve your lie out of a hazard or into a better cut of grass.
-You must take 2 drives from each player
Entry Deadline -- Friday at 10:00 PM.
