I don't think you want to start off the whole tourney in a big hole (yesterday), and once you enter Match Play you certainly can't afford to have a bad day bc you'll be eliminated.

Weather.com shows the wind tomorrow to be around 19 mph. That is going to make things extremely interesting.

Finish the day tied for 8th. I agree, hopefully we got our bad round out of the way today and we come to play tomorrow.

Things feel about as well as we could have hoped after posting the score we did today.

i would imagine top 15 play in the afternoon wave and we will be paired with Augusta St and Ohio State.

Why wouldn't it still matter? You shoot the same score as the team in 9th, you still be in 8th (everybody else being the same).

Im pretty sure I could beat that Dan Charon guy of Ohio State. I think alot of people on this board can.

I wish they would cut the field to low 15 after two rounds and let everyone play at the same time. If 16-30 to play in the morning, then 16-18 have a nice advantage over 13-15.

But all in all, I'm happy with our position. We came into the tournament seeded eighth and that's about where we stand. A good round tomorrow and we are into match play.

Our tee window is 12:50-1:30 for round three. USC, piggies and Duke go off in the wave ahead of us and Az St, Iowa and San Diego St. go off in the wave behind us. We are paired with Ohio St and Augusta St. All of these groups start on 10.

My goal for tomorrow is to not check a leaderboard until after 3pm because I expect I will be on it non-stop after that. It will probably be around 7:30pm before all the scores are in. On a positive note, the sips will already be back in Austin breaking camp for summer by then.

Poor sips.

Does anyone know the tie-breaker rules for teams tied for 8th at the end of round 3? Ranking? Lowest round 3 score? Lowest one round score?

The early start time works out quite nicely for John Peterson (LSU). Might be able to shoot a pretty low number before the wind gets up.

The sips are playing pretty good so far. -1 though 4-8.

sips are back to even, all other teams are above par already, might be a really high scoring day.

then again, maybe theres a reason they're playing in the morning

The playoff head to head on the same hole, of course. All 5 team member's scores count.

We did that 3 or 4 years ago. Pretty exciting stuff.
