I had a friend tell me that you could play golf at Traditions golf course for $20. It was my understanding that you couldn't play for under $75. Anyone know what the actual green fees are?

You can't play the campus course for $20 walking, am thinking $125 on weekends at Traditions.

New rules went into effect Jan. 1, but I've never known a time when you could play for $20 in any circumstance.

Guests may play unaccompanied with the sponsorship of a Founder member and Club approval. Unaccompanied guest rate is $125.

Accompanied guest rates are $57/77+cart depending on the day, and immediate family member/junior rates are half price.

Yeah i played the campus course the week before school started for fun since my dad had stories of playing it and hitting range balls for 5 or 10 bucks...then i realized that was not the case anymore $20 later

Traditions Club is a private club, therefore you need a current member to either play golf with you ($55) or have them set up a unaccompained round for you ($125) to play on the Jack Nicklaus 18 Hole Championship Designed course. You can play the course as a non-member if you are one of our guests staying in one of our beautiful 2-bedroom Casitas overlooking Hole #8 & 9 or a 3 or 4-bedroom Cottage overlooking Hole #1 ($125). These fees are a 1-time a day fee, the cart fee of $18 is the only fee that must be paid for any additional round of golf on the same day. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at mnebera@traditionsclub.com or at our Pro Shop at 979-779-1007!

An answer and a sales pitch, you would think though they would have better bunkers at a course like that but they dont the last few times Ive played they were terrible.

We actually just finished a complete bunker renovation this past December! "Chadt" I would love to hear what you think about them next time you play at Traditions. We are definitely looking for feedback from golfers that played here before the renovation and now after.

Hi Meghan

Is there special membership pricing for A&M System Staff ? Also I am 30, so what is the Junior Membership terms ?

Thanks.

Thanks for your question BlueTeam02! We do have a Junior Membership, however it is not associated with Texas A&M and being that you are 30, the Junior Membership would be your best option in my opinion. The Junior Membership has all the benfits of a Full Golf Membership, however the monthly dues are on a sliding scale based on your age upto 34 years old. Since you are 30 your monthly dues would be $250. You do have a one time Initiation Fee of $5,000 that is 50% of the Full Golf Membership fee. Being that this is a golf membership, you have access to both golf and social events and facilities at the club as well as golf and social privileges. Please let me know if you have any further questions! You can reach me on this forum or by email at mnebera@traditionsclub.com!

Meghan,

Does the club have a reciprocating agreement with other clubs and country clubs? For instance, we played Pebble Creek this summer because of a reciprocating agreement. All we had to have is our local club pro call.

Yes! Since Traditions Club is a Jack Nicklaus Design course, any golf member does receive reciprocal privileges at any of the 300+ Jack Nicklaus Courses throughout the world. You do have to go through our Golf Pro/ Director of Golf to set this up, but that is a great benefit that comes with the golf memberships at Traditions.
