Yes, because cheering for someone to fail is much more sportsmanlike than poking fun at the loser. Especially when said loser was talking a bunch of sh*t.

The big difference between you and I is that I cheer for the Aggies(and every Texas team) when they aren't playing us or we don't directly benefit from their loss. When we lose to the Aggies or Sooners I don't hope for or take any solice in them losing to someone else.

1st) I'm not sure A&M will be good for another 5+ years, so while I hope we can be better I doubt it will happen any time soon. Despite that you totally missed the point of my comment. I hope and pray that Aggies (as a group) never become as pompous as Sips. And, yes I would like to see you guys get a little deflated. Your becoming unbareable to deal with.

2nd) Since when did rooting against a team equal poor sportsmanship? Now being a jerk after someones team loses or laughing at them has always been poor sportsmanship.

3rd) I guess it's easy to root for us. Probably because our fans aren't the biggest jerks in College sports. Funny how everyone roots against you and you can't figure out why. Not the same as why everyone roots against the Yankees or Cowboys or Irish but more like why everyone roots against the Phillys or the Eagles.

I will be rooting for tOSU to hand the sips their a** on a platter. Does that make me a poor sport from tOSU's perspective?

Watched both teams on the tube yesterday. I will be surprised if the sips move the ball very well against tOSU. But, who knows? The sip O-line will not dominate the way they did against NTU, and that will change a lot of things.
