...looks like this. Hurling insults and calling someone an idiot does not.

That, gentlemen, is "owning" someone. Calling someone an idiot and a liar, without any factual proof that that's the case, is not.

I don't understand it because it doesn't comport with what you argued before re: Hodges vs. Cumbie. Just because you can't grasp your own self-contradiction doesn't mean it isn't there.
You've shown NO proof that Leach prefers seniors over underclassmen at QB. You've said that he'd love to get away from it. Then why hasn't he? I assume its because he picked the QB each year who was the best one the team had. He picked Symons over Cumbie, even though both had been in the system for the SAME amount of time, because Symons was better. That was evident after watching 1) Symons beat out Cumbie in '03, and 2) Cumbie's play in 04 vs. Symons play in '03. Cumbie wasn't as good. Logic would say that Cumbie is better than Hodges, because 1) Cumbie got the nod over Hodges last year, and 2) Cumbie was not as good as his predecesor, Symons.
And if Leach would pick a senior just because he's a senior, over a guy who's younger that's actually better for the team, then your team has issues at the top.

Let's have a math lesson real quick. I know you're smart since you make a lot of money, and you got into Tech, and A&M for that matter.
Both were five-year seniors, both started in their fifth year in college. So when Symons beat out Cumbie they had been in the system the same amount of time?

Yes Welker. Wanna see why? Let me show how this works:
Symons was a 5th year senior in 2003. Symons was recruited by Leach when Leach was at Oklahoma. Symons chose Tech. Symons first year at Tech was in 1999. Who was the coach then? Dykes. Leach came the next year, in 2000.
Cumbie was a 5th year senior in 2004. Cumbie came to Tech as a walk on in...2000.
What year did Mike Leach begin at Tech?
2000.
2000= Mike Leach's first year at Tech
2000= Symons AND Cumbies' first year in Leach's system.
You've just been owned. Thank you.
