He was good for the Mavs when he was here. I think Avery will make a run for his services. And I'd love to hear Humble Billy announce his free throw attempts again. Funny sh|t.

On an unrelated note, I hate Humble Billy.

Spurs do need another 3 guard, and van Ex isn't the answer. They need to bring in a young guy who they can groom behind Bowen for the next couple of years. Van Ex and his lack of defense wouldn't fit very well in Pop's system.

Van Exel was great in the playoffs for the Mavs a couple of years ago. Probably would've won it all if not for that brick wall called the Spurs.
