he will NOT make it as a QB. Eric Crouch was a much better QB than radio and he didn't make it as a QB.

Vince is too good with the football not to play on offense in the NFL. He may play QB, he may not, but I'll bet he'll have quite a career at the next level.

I think Vince Young has some talent, but he has absolutely zero shot at a career as a pro QB unless he drastically improves his ability to read a defense and throw the tater.

It used to be folks readily admitted their QBs weren't cut in the NFL mode.

You always hear a Turner Gill or Jameille Holloway or Eric Crouch say they were going to play QB. No one ever really took them seriously. I guess the shift towards "dual threat" QBs ala Vick or McNabb has changed things.

He'll be behind the eight ball because he won't know how to run routes. It'll take him years to crack the starting lineup as a wideout in the show.

I dont think he'll need to 'drastically' improve his passing. He'll need to improve, but he is already a suffecient enough passer to win games. When your as talented and as dangerous as he is running the ball, you don't need to squeeze ropes between defenders. Vince simply scrambling out of the pocket will be enough to draw defenders off their assignments.
