Yeah, I know we have our fair number of geeks (the Corps), but the Fro Bros? These guys look pretty cool. I'm sure these D-1 athletes are pretty shaken up after hearing it from 5-9, 185 Freshman Akeem Akinpelu.

I'd always assumed these were just a few scattered dorks. I was however pleasantly surprised to see that they are an "organization".

Please Techsan - although I will agree the some guys in the Corps are pretty dorky -- the Fro Bros as a tradition is pretty bad.

Going to Tech isn't a choice, it's a consequence. Even the guys on NBC news in dallas were saying Tech is always looking up to A&M and Texas when it comes to sports.

First of all, when the Aggies have any basketball fans close to resembling this then they can come talk.

With that being said, they are gay. My friends and I did this stuff when Dickey was there, not so we could make a cool "organization" and get student service fees, but so we could just have fun and support Tech basketball when no one else did.

These guys didn't form until Knight came and in my opinion, if you have to have an "organization" to enjoy and support an athletic program, it's not real support.

So Armen, and whoever else reads this board, sorry, but your organization is gay. I'll give you props personally for being ESPN's No. 1 fan or something, that was pretty cool. But do it on your own, don't start a frat for it to scam the university out of money. You can dress up and get crazy without its money, I did.

Agreed 100%. They should never be allowed within 1 miles of basketball games.
We actually had a decent atmosphere this year in spite of the yell leaders.
