Went to Dauphin Island a couple of years ago,and it was really nice. Looks like it is getting ready to go bye,bye.

I have a trip to New Orleans planned for Sunday-Wednesday (and it has been planned for months). Should I call it off, or do you think Dennis is far enough east now? Even if it doesn't hit there, do you think it will be raining the entire time I'm in town? The forecast keeps changing.

I am pretty sure Nawlins will get pelted with some heavy rains. It looks like the left edge of the storm will crash into Gulfport & Biloxi, but I don't think it will hit Louisiana. The thing to be most worried about in New Orleans area would be flooding, due to the fact that it's almost completely surrounded by water (Lake Pontchartrain, Mississippi River, & Barataria Bay). CajunAg97 or mj raider could probably give you better information, although I think he's in Atlanta for the summer.
