How in the hell do you drop baseball as an olympic sport? Especially when they have a moronic sport like curling. That has to be one of the most ridiculous things that I have ever heard.

It is the thinking man's game so I wouldn't really expect a tard to get it.

I played baseball for a long time, and that is probably why I can't stand to watch it anymore. To me it's like watching the grass grow. It's not that I don't like the game, don't get me wrong, I love the intricacies of the game, I just cannot stand to watch it, period.

Unbelievable. I actually agree with Shiner, minus the intricacies part. Few things bore me like baseball does. Unfortunately, I've been in an exciting sport drought for some time since I don't have hockey to alleviate my post-college football withdrawal.

It's almost akin to having American football as an Olympic sport. In order to qualify as a sport, something like 10% of participants (countries) have to create their own selection processes and national champions team or roster. No one is willing to do it except for western hemisphere countries and Japan.

Curling is not expensive to do or maintain. Coming up with a 25-man team and equipment, practices, etc. is costly.

This is a travesty. It's not even as if the USofA is killing everyone else in baseball. Softball, sure, but I don't really give a damn about that chick sport anyway. Next thing you know synchronized, underwater wine tasting will be an Olympic sport. F'in frogs.

I played baseball for years. I love the game, I just hate watching it. It's boring. It's not boring to play it. It's boring to watch it.

And I hate that they've taken away two gold medals from us, but that still doesn't change the fact that baseball is fcuking boring.
