My friend just called me, his dad owns a propane company in San Angelo. He had called my friend to tell him to go fill his car up because gas went up there 10 cents yesterday and is expected to go up 15-20 today because of the attack.

It could be BS, I know, but I trust it because I trust my friend's dad and he works in the industry. Plus gas is cheaper there than it is here (DFW) and I'm sure in other big cities too, with the exception of spewston.

Gasoline prices may be on the rise, but I would think that it's more likely the result of the hurricane threatening the Gulf.

Natural gas prices will rise because of all of the off-shore production facilities which will be shut-in.

Gasoline prices may rise because of the fear of refinery disruptions, should the hurricane hit along the refinery/petrochem corridor from New Orleans to Houston.

crude went down on the news...

i'd fill up anyway with the potential threat that TS dennis is posing to offshore operators and refineries.

Well whatever the case is, I just filled up half a tank and spent $25. And it was just like $2.19 the other day. It's supposed to go up more by the end of the day.
