"Just drop the camera and worry about your friend"
well said, what a f-ing idiot. People like that should be deleted from the gene pool. They probably got the idea from Jackass! or something, but what they probably didn't realize is how threatening that would be for someone to jump on your car at night. He's lucky he didn't die.
When I was 16 I had a hot car and a sh*t job working at an arcade. I was locking up for the night and a few kids about my age tried to rob me. I managed to get into the car but it was a cold night and the engine died right after I backed out. One of the punks jumped on the hood and two others tried to open the doors. I saw the one next to my door start to pull a gun right as the engine fired to life. I gunned the car out of the parking lot with the first punk still on the hood. I slammed on the brakes going 40 or 50 and sent him flying.
I can still remember the look on his face as he flew off.
As far as the kid. I can not remember his name but if you are from Dallas you may know North Mesquite and Bryan Adems High Schools. I went to North and the three others went to Bryan.
I got a call at home about 30 minutes later from the mgr. of the arcade. The cops had called him and asked who was working that night. I went back up to the store and answered a few questions. The kid who flew off my car had a broken sholder and a maybe a leg or arm I forget. I was not told that night but found out later as I was suppposed to be a target of these guys for the next year or so but nothing ever happend. No arrests were made amazingly enough either.
Yea I did not stick around either. I found out later what happened to him.
As far as the gun goes, I was already motivated to leave. At 16 I was very thin and very tall and was not going to kick to many people's asses. The gun just drove that point home.
