You have to love the inconsistency that is part of iron dipsh*t's lore. Recently he tried to argue that Jamario Thomas was the leading rusher(of course this was after the dumbass tried to say that Benson was the leading rusher) last season in D-1. He found it convenient to use yds/pg as the basis for his argument, not total yards. Fine, I guess. But lo and behold, when it comes to recruiting he wants to use total points, rather than average star ranking. In every one of those years cited in his rankings, UT's average star ranking far exceeds that of a&m. Let him be. He can't get out of the way of his own dumbassery.

Brandi, would you like to know the real reason why A&M's class was ranked higher than Texas' class last year?

The reason lies in the very 1st number in those rankings you so PROUDLY posted.........

2005: A&M - 26
Texas - 15

2003: A&M - 24
Texas - 18

These numbers are the TOTAL NUMBER of signees in those given classes. In both of these years, A&M had more scholarships available, than did Texas, to offer.

This number, as anyone who knows ANYTHING about recruiting rankings will tell you, is the biggest factor (with avg. rank of recruits running a close 2nd) in determining where a class is ranked.

This is because classes are ranked by TOTAL POINTS.

So, if one school has more scholarships to offer than another, the school with the greater number will probably be ranked higher. Especially if it's a significant number more. (A&M had 11 mroe signees last year)

Therefore, Brandi, Fran did NOT outrecruit Mack, as you would like to believe. He just had 11 more scholarships available with which to pad the class' ranking.

P.S. - I would also like to point out that in 2004, Texas' class outranked A&M's despite having 8 LESS signees (A&M - 28, UT - 20) in the class. Also, in ALL 3 YEARS that Brandi has posted, the avg. ranking per recruit is SIGNIFICANTLY in the favor of Texas.
