It's a stretch, but it's doable. I think we can win 1 of 3 between Texas, OU, and Tech...the rest we should be able to handle.

Then they will drop their next four:

Kansas 3-1
Nebraska 3-2

Texas 3-4

They will then beat:

Lose to:

How could you ever predict Texas Tech to lose 5 games or so? Oh wait, nevermind. They always do.

Are you one of those genuises who is predicting an A&M loss in Lubbock just based on the prior trend done almost entirely under a different coach? You do realize that all that has NOTHING to do with this year, dont you?

I agree with MJ. I see both ending with between 7 and 9 victories next year.

Face it, Tech in LBK is your players' heads. Ask Jay Brooks and Brian Gamble. Tech in LBK is in your fans' heads. They have admitted as such. "It's a bermuda triangle." Why would I predict an A&M win? You got punked by 31 (Leach was merciful) last time Fran Ho Park brought his team to town.

Again MJ. Two things. What's in our fans heads has nothing to do with the team. Whats in players' heads who have since graduated has nothing to do with the team. Fran's only trip to Lubbock was with our worst team in 31 years, and we got killed. But bragging about beating the snot out of a team that got its jock rocked all year nearly as bad or worse by several teams is stupid, and HAS NOTHING TO DO with the team this year. A&M is stronger at every position than Tech, with the POSSIBLE exception of WR, but I still think A&M's are more talented.

I can't believe most techies are marking the A&M game down as a for sure W. Ever game in Lubbuck the last decade (apart from '03) has been decided on a play or two. Both teams will be very good, but I would definitely consider it a tossup at this point in time.

A&M will lose (again) in Lubbock

Tech will lose (again) in life.

Shiner once again backs up his post with hard evidence and sound logic.

OU loses to nobody in conference again
Texas loses to OhioSU and OU
Tech loses to Texas & OU, lose one of NU/KSU
A&M loses to at least three, probably four of OU, Tech, CU, Texas & KSU.

If A&M does lose the same number of conference games as Tech it loses the tiebreaker for the heads up loss.


Since DF's arrival A&M has given up an average of 450 yards a game through the air to Tech, 600 in Lubbock. A&M has not demonstrated that they have a secondary yet and the loss of that DB isn't going to help. Tech plays very well out in Lubbock and A&M doesn't have the D to do what Texas did last year.
