I didn't care, at all, about this series, but these little dorky spurs fans have gotten on my nerves, not just on this board, but everywhere. "Look at the spurs, they're so great, they play team basketball, they're everything that's right about pro sports, blah, blah, blah." Now I hope the spurs lose just so little spurs fan will have nothing else to look forward to other than fiesta and the next J-Lo movie.

I'm a Spurs fan in the Northeast, where everyone hates anything to do with Texas, Oil, the Bushes or common courtesy.

If you don't live in San Antonio or Detroit how can you bare to watch this series? Is this the worst series in NBA Finals history? Two small market teams playing a boring brand of basketball where one team gets blown out each game?

I can't watch it, and I don't care who wins....just end it quickly.

Man, what a series.

First two games, it looks like the Spurs are gonna blow out the Pistons in 4 games.

Next two games, now it looks like the Pistons are gonna just roll the Spurs.

per capita? didnt think so. houston is also the 4th biggest city in the country.

As a Rockets fan, I am certainly pulling for the Spurs. I would do so for any pro team from Texas. I don't understand this city rivalry in pro sports. The one exception is the Cowboys. I go back and forth on whether I hate them.

FYI, I didn't write "per capita."

There are more Latinos in Houston than in San Antonio. Example: if SA has 600,000, Houston has more than that.

Hear! A longtime Spurs fan. They are what's "right" about team sports. No jackasses, prima donnas, or thugs with a rap sheet. Just good guys playing good basketball. I guess you would prefer a team with Rodman and Spreewell over Duncan and Parker.

For those that don't like the defensive-minded grind it out style, would you rather have an a no-defense, first one down jacks it up style like you see in the all-star game?

FWIW, I don't care what style they play as long as the Spurs win. I bet you would say the same for your aggies, too.

I can promise you I won't be banned from a site, start multiple user names to continue posting there, then form a yahoo group called "the objectionists" to monitor said site and email the moderators anytime any poster says something bad about my alma mater, then beg and plead with the moderators of the original site (texags), begging them to give me my old handle back after I have bad mouthed them for over a year on varoius other internet mediums.
