Aggies take a look at this. It was posted on the Tech Fans site also so I cut and pasted it!
Well Red Raiders, I hate to break it to you but no you are not rivals with Texas A&M. In order to have a good stable rivlary there must be mutual hate. Texas and A&M are the real rivals because for one they are the top schools in Texas and two they are the most known. Tech is a good school, dont get me wrong, but never will it reach the level of notoriety that either Texas or Texas A&M have. Anyway, Texas Tech Red Raiders, yall are probbaly infuriated with my comments but they are true! Red Raiders hate, despice, Aggies but Aggies only turn their heads because they don't give ur school importance. The rivalry was will and will be Aggies vs longhorns(teasips) and the so called "rivalry" with Tech that most Aggies don't even consider as such is just a mediocre "rivalry" that Tech uses to show their jealosuy at Texas A&M. A&M might not be a powerhouse in athletics but they are way better academically. You might make fun of their traditions but at least they have good ones unlike you all. Oh yeah and about the 1999 incident when the "classless clowns" from Tech did all that ###### to the Aggie fans! That just goes to show how "good" Red Raider fans are! At least thats what your head football coach says! Aggie fans are known throughout the country for their spirit and unity and that is something that no jealous and mediocre Red Raider will ever change.
