Tell me is you see a pattern.
Is that a more appropriate way to post CMack? Sorry if the "good ol' boy" talk annoys you, but I was born and raised in WEST Texas, work in the oil business and I DO talk that way even though I now sit behind a desk. No sense in pretending to be somebody you're not. I just thought this was a friendly place to chew he fat with some Ags, but I understand why someone like myself wouldn't be welcome here given the pattern outlined above.
BTW.....should I have just "stopped there" as you stated in your previous post due simply to the fact that it makes you feel better to forget the past decade? You can talk overall history all you want, but the fact of the matter is that Tech has been abusing A&M on a regular basis since before the inception of the Big XII.
You can also claim "scoreboard" for this past season, but that is a poor indicator of the overall quality of the program. Shoot, Baylor has "scoreboard" against Texas State, North Texas and the mighty Ags, but I don't think you'd ever agree that they have a better football program than A&M now would you?
Face it. Tech has had superior coaching and talent for quite some time now. BUT.....I have faith that Fran is and will continue to turn the ship around at A&M and make it a respected program like it was in the 80's....it just takes time, but it will happen. I'd love nothing more than to see y'all hand it to the Horns on a regular basis. I truly miss those days.
Anyway, take care and allow me to give you an advanced welcome to Jones Stadium this year. Maybe you'll walk out of Lubbock with your first win there since '93. But I wouldn't put my money on it.....and deep down you know you wouldn't either. If I'm wrong, please let me know and maybe we can meet before/after the game and each put our money where our mouth is. I'm not just sayin' that, either. I'd enjoy the opportunity to shake your hand before and after the game, regardless of the outcome. But don't forget your wallet and be sure to leave your 20's & 50's back at the house. I don't have the time or energy if you aren't willing to play with the big boys.
