For all the chest pounding done by the Aggies lately about OOC schedule, it's interesting to look at recent OOC schedules and results.

2003 (2 ranked teams, losses to both)
Arkansas State W 26-11
Utah W 28-26
@ Virginia Tech(8)L 19-35
Pittsburgh (17) L 26-37

2002 (1 ranked team, lost to it)
Louisiana-Lafayette W 31-7
@ Pittsburgh W 14-12
Virginia Tech(7) L 3-13
Louisiana Tech W 31-3

2001 (no ranked teams)
McNeese State W 38 24
at Wyoming W 28 20
Notre Dame W 24 3

2000 (no ranked teams, lost to unranked ND)
at Notre Dame L, 10-24 Recap
WYOMING W, 51-3 Recap
TEXAS-EL PASO W, 45-17 Recap

1999 (no ranked teams)
Louisiana Tech W, 37-17 (the last 3 years look like RC was trying to establish a recruiting foothold in LA after the LSU series ended)
TULSA W, 62-13
SOUTHERN MISS W, 23-6

1998 (1 ranked team, lost to it)
Florida State (#2) L, 14-23
LOUISIANA TECH W, 28-7
Southern Mississippi W, 24-6
NORTH TEXAS W, 28-9 (4th yr. in a row to play UNT)

1997 (you gotta be kidding me!)
Sam Houston State W 59 6
SW Louisiana W 66 0
at North Texas Texas W 36 10

1996 (BYU might have been ranked, either way a loss, plus a loss to doormat SW Louisiana)
at Brigham Young L 37 41
SW Louisiana L 22 29
North Texas W 55 0

1995 (Colorado may have been ranked, either way a loss). Having LSU on the schedule is good but not quite like have OU on your schedule since college football began)
LSU W 33 17
Tulsa W 52 9
at Colorado L 21 29

Conclusion - A&M has played is fair share of out of conference patsies in the last few years. Anytime they face a ranked OOC team, they pretty much lose every time.

So does this mean you nutless bovines want to compare marquee teams?

2003: Virginia Tech #18 in final AP poll
2002: Virginia Tech #18 in final AP poll
2001: Notre Dame unranked
2000: "Unranked" Notre Dame surprised to finish NUMBER FIFTEEN in final AP poll (dumbass).

1998: Florida State #3 in final AP poll
1997: LSU pullout year, no marquee team
1996: BYU #5 in final AP poll (replaced LSU via classic)
1995: LSU unranked

Compare to tu marquee teams in final polls:

1998: UCLA #8 in final AP poll
1997: UCLA #5 in final AP poll
1996: Notre Dame #19 in final AP poll
1995: Notre Dame #11 in final AP poll

DADDY A&M v. gay younger brother tu by year

1995: UR v. #11

2000: #15 v. UR
2001: UR v. UR
2002: #18 v. UR
2003: #18 v. UR

Daddy A&M: marquee opponents ranked 67% of the time, average ranking 9.83.

Did you post the fact that Nebraska was scheduled and backed out (2 years) due to the formation of the Big 12 and we replaced them with SHSU?

Didn't think so.

We had Nebraska and Colorado dropped because of Big XII formation, Florida State asked out because of conference realignment, Clemson rescheduled, as well as LSU and Auburn completely punking out.

And we STILL have an exponentially tougher schedule than the nutless bovines, who had to be SURPRISED by the resurgence of UCLA and actually cancelled Hawaii because they got to 8 wins the year before they were supposed to play.

What a bunch of nutless bovine P U S S I E S.

The point was, you lose almost all of the tough games you love to brag so much about. I guess Baylor can start feeling proud of all the good teams they lose to.

I'll forward your message to the boards at Washington State, Colorado, and OU. I'm certain they'll get as good a laugh out of it as we have!

Just out of curiosity, when was the last time the 'sips beat a #1 ranked team?

Did anyone see that t.u. asked out of their upcoming series with Utah a couple weeks ago?

Just another attempt to avoid anyone not considered bad appearing on their OOC schedule.

Edit: Ohio State is a decent team that gets real lucky in 90% of their games.

Tsips opened the OOC can of worms.

Allow me to close it.

They played Arkansas. To explain how crappy they looked and nearly lost, Arkansas has to characterized as an overlooked and talented team that lives to play tu. The numbers, they will say, don't matter.

But when someone else (hint: the team they stalk like pervs) plays a tough team, like Clemson or Utah, the tsips will claim the numbers and rankings don't lie.

Poor pathetic tsips.

The sips play one good OOC team in the past 10 years and pound their chest to no end. We really need to kick them in the sack this year.

I know reading comprehension might be tough for you but the point of his post was not "who has the tougher schedule" but the fact that when A&M faces quality OOC opponents it tends to lose.

Concerning your point, however, the various teams that backed out would have probably made A&M's OOC results look even worse. NU in the mid-90's was a monster with 3 MNC's and FSU is a loss for just about anyone not located in Miami. A&M tried to schedule tough opponents and should be recognized for that. Odds are home and home series against FSU & NU would have ended 1-3.

Utah faced conference re-alignment. So they initiated a change in the schedule.

So we're backing out of Utah because we know they're worldbeaters but we're scheduling Ohio State because they're really just luck and decent? We were surprised by UCLA's rise but y'all knew Utah would be good? Texas scheduled UNC when they were top 5, A&M scheduled Utah when they weren't any good.

Schedule smack is pointless. Both team are putting together respectable schedules.

I don't have time to pour through your list of pathological obsession with your DADDY TEXAS A&M, but Southern Mississippi finished NUMBER FOURTEEN in 1999 you stupid clown, so I'm sure the rest of your list is full of sh^t as well.

2003: Utah finished #21

2002: Pittsburgh finished #19

2000: Notre Dame finished #5

1999: Southren Mississippi finished #14

(1996 and 1997 were LSU chickenouts- LSU pulled a t.u./Hawaii on us)

1996: BYU finished #5. You are a moron.

1995: Colorado finished #5

Compare this to the pus sy ass chickensh^t scheduling of the nutless bovines.
