At first I was not a fan.....But this season is a good example where it actually makes sense, especially when you take out the Conf Championships games....

Teams should not be punished for a couple losses with a brutal schedule that does not measure up to a team with an easier schedule (yes like Tech) and a higher win total..

I'm of the firm opinion that if you don't make your conference championship game you have no place in the CFP. If your team isn't capable of winning its conference then it isn't capable of winning the championship. The regular season should mean something.

And I'll do one better: the conference championships should be the first round of the playoffs.

And if you're not in a conference, sucks to be you.
