The Big 12 schools are so thankful that all the competitive schools are gone because now, all the weaklings, the ones that didn't have another option, will finally have a chance to win in some sport now!

What needs to happen is that Nebraska leaves the Big10 and takes OU with them back to the Big 12.
Those two schools would own the conference. Undefeated OU/NU on Thanksgiving weekend in Jerry World for the championship every year. OU would drop the tu game to keep from having a potential loss for the championship game against NU. Those two schools are currently mired in two conferences as after thoughts they don't even fit in and are missing a golden opportunity. .

That would be great, but there is no way OU lets go of tu's pocket. OU's ability to compete at football's highest level is based solely on access to Texas HS recruits. Playing t.u. is key to their appeal. Additionally, a large chunk of their revenue is centered on the RRR game in Dallas (same for tu). OU will always tilt nipple to their burnt orange masters.

Nebraska isn't going to abandon all that B1G money and the multi-billion dollar research consortium they are a part of in the B1G.

LOL. Utah just blew out Nebraska in the Las Vegas Bowl 44-22 (NU garbage time third TD when it was 44-14)
