But I DID get accepted. I'm not a t-shirt Red Raider.

I remember how much my parents cried when I announced I was going to Tech. It was a very emotional moment.

Change the board name back to Rivalries and delete the SEC Country forum. Redundant.

Well, there is the pride in a renewed invigorated conference shedding its loss leaders and gaining 300,000 square miles of territory this year alone!
From Appalachian highlands to soaring snow clad peaks of the Rockies to the Majestic Sonoran and Mojave deserts, almost touching the Pacific. Through Rich River valleys and subtropical climes to the Great Plains where the granary of America lies.

Lubbock is still awesome if you're into spotlighting varmints on the edge of town.

Look on the bright side: a bus trip is cheap and bus trips are what you get in the SEC as you travel through the monotonous southern pine forests. The teams can lease Motel 6s and maybe do three or four week road swings through Starkville, Oxford, Tuscaloosa and Auburn.
Heck, stop over in Stephenvillle or Ruston for a non conference game and make it an I-20 tour.

LOL! Yeah, you still have to go to Stoolwater, Waco, Ft. Worth, Ames, Lubbock, the Third Ward of Houston, etc.- not places you want to be in unless you have to.

I'll give you Utah and Colorado- but Arkansas and Tennessee can match beautiful mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. Florida for great beaches, Kentucky for beautiful racehorse farms and of course the whiskey tours (no piles of orange juice boxes at our stadiums), tons of historical sites, great blues music, awesome bbq, best college towns anywhere, etc. Easy to fly into/out of all locations, awesome hotels and great foodie towns.

You should try it, you'll like it!

worried that castoff-couldn't-make Texas 4-deep Camy Raison has lost a step, and you've become quite the travel agent lately.

Well, I get claustrophobia from moving around tiny states like the Yankee states and the southeast.

This is a brilliant idea. Brandi was responsible for half of this board's traffic back in the day with all the sh/t talking. The "Kiss of Death" sure kept me coming back.

Yep. Although I am sure that NFL PR types would insist on "there was no violation of law or lapse of team standards on the part of our client".
